THE BLOG | SINCERELY, ME
Sincerely, Me originated as 'Finding Sanity' in the summer of 2015 when I was a junior in high school. I didn't know what the blog was then, and I can't say I've come to that understanding as I type 5-years later. Its intent has varied but ultimately comes down to one common theme: life. Like my life, everything in this blog has changed and continues as additions (categorically & contextually) occur without much explanation.

As a kid and even an 'adult,' I've always searched for meaning. Whether it be why things happen, why people act a certain way, or why I think the way I think, I've always desired a definitive answer. The funny thing was, and still is, that sometimes those answers don't exist at all, at least not for us to find. Many of our life's moments occur without explanation. Unfortunately, for me, someone who thrives off of consistency - this is a tough pill to swallow. This blog, personally, began for me as an outlet to voice the confusion and often unexplained emotions I experienced growing up. It helped me sort through them, and although I don't blog nearly as often as I used to, it still does.

Sincerely, Me embodies five remarkably transitional years of life, love, loss, growth, and everything in between. While it's predominately centered on expression through the lens of storytelling and creative writing, I'm in the process of tailoring it to showcase more of ME and the life I'm living day-to-day as a 20-something-year-old girl. Whether it's my love for food or binging television, I love to bring a little certainty in my recommendations to others' lives. You might say this site, or 'blog,' sincerely is me! and attempts to bring to life some of those things you may not see or hear in person. It's an open book to my life, love, joys & sorrows, and an invitation to listen. This little site brings me happiness and creative power in a world of what sometimes feels like saturated bullshit.
